Pet care experience
Hi there! I'm kayla! I grew up taking care of a German Shepard in my younger years and currently help out with a variety of dog breeds; pitbulls, terriers, husky, border collies, pugs, etc. I am caring and respectful. I understand pets are children and should be treated like so. I am very active and love playing & walking dogs, or having a running partner if possible! I have also taken care of a number of cats! I am very focused and extremely responsible and will always keep you updated with details & pictures. I have my doctorate in physical therapy. I look forward to hearing from you and meeting your pup!

Kayla was fantastic with my dog, Chloe! As it was my first time leaving Chloe with anyone other rehab family, I think I was more nervous to leave my dog than my dog was about me leaving, but Kayla did everything possible to make both of us feel comfortable prior to and during her stay. Kayla was very communicative during her stay and sent lots of pictures and updates. I would 100% have Kayla stay with Chloe again, and I know Chloe is looking forward to it as well—I would highly recommend Kayla for dog sitting!

I have no breed preference but would like to be informed of the dog's normal temperament and likes/dislikes. I have watched a variety of different breeds.
A typical day
I go for walks/runs along different hiking trails or neighborhood parks. There are also dog parks nearby to play fetch and run around! I am open to exploring other areas pet-friendly!

I am usually home throughout the day, most often I am gone for about 4-5 hours at a time. I am typically free on weekends.
