I have loved animals since the day I was born. I have a huge soft spot for dogs and would love on every dog I see for days and days if I could. I have had my own dog, Dallas, since he was a puppy. He just turned 11 and I couldn't love him more! Our sweet old girl, Smiley, passed away in November 2018, but she was our shelter rescue for 10 years before she passed. I have had experience caring for puppies, healthy adult dogs, senior dogs with medical issues, handicapped dogs, rescues, etc. I also have experience with cats! We rescued a sweet adult Persian male cat who was suffering from serious neglect. We nursed him back to health and had the pleasure of being his fur-ever home for 4 years before he passed. I love taking dogs on walks, playing fetch or tug-of-war, snuggling on the couch, and handing out treats to those special fur babies. An animal will never feel neglected or alone when I am near by! If your pet needs medication, I am comfortable giving them their pills or liquid meds as needed. Being a military spouse, I know the importance of finding someone you can trust to care for your animals, especially when you may not have family close by to call on. I want everyone to feel comfort knowing their babies are in good hands as they heading off to work or vacation. I would love to be that person for you! I am a stay at home mommy, so I have plenty of time to care for your fur- babies! From long-term set schedules to last minute care, I am flexible and can adapt to fit your needs. I also live in a large neighborhood with great side walks for longer walks when the weather is nice. I take my own dog out for a nice walk in the evening when it isn't too hot! I have two little girls who ADORE animals. My only request is that you are sure your cat or dog is child friendly, because my girls will give them so much extra love. My husband is also an animal lover. He is especially partial to larger breed dogs and will give them all the cuddles. Our dog, Dallas, is a 9 lbs teacup schnauzer. He is used to having a fellow dog around and enjoys playing with other small dogs. He gets nervous around larger dogs at first, but usually warms up to them after a little while. He is a sweetheart and misses his "big sister" Smiley a lot. I'm sure he would love to have some puppy company!
