Pet care experience
I have loved dogs since I was a baby and have always wanted one. Due to my moms allergies, I've never gotten the chance, so I take care of others dogs instead. I worked at a boarding kennel in my hometown for about two years before they closed. This past summer I had three families hire me to watch their dogs multiple times. The dogs included a small mix, two golden retrievers, a cocker spaniel and a Golden doodle. For references, feel free to ask. I have now owned my first dog, a beautiful German Shepherd named Scamp and so I know on a personal level what pet owners want from their sitters. I’m here for you as the owner as much as I am for your pet.

Kayla is a very loving and responsible person who is passionate about caring for animals. She worked in a 70 opening dog kennel for 2 years where she cleaned up after, fed and played with her charges. She has since opened her services privately to families where she will attend to the dogs as often as a family would like. Kayla takes the time to get to know each dog so she can make them feel comfortable while their owners are away. She is affectionate and firm to ensure the dogs are well loved and safe in her care. I highly recommend Kayla for dog sitting!

I am open to all breeds of all sizes! I would just need to know medical conditions, medications, specific behaviors that may cause problems, and any daily routines that need to be kept during the stay. Also specific rules you want me to enforce such as not being aloud on the couch, needing a leash when going outside, needing to sit still before receiving a treat or food, etc.
A typical day
We will walk the normal route the owners take them on and if there is a dog park that the dogs frequent, we will head there too. I'm always up for a game of fetch and just chilling outside.
