Dependable Service Dog Trainer
Pet care experience
I have cared for dogs all my life, but my most meaningful experience has been training a service dog. Working with Canine Companions for Independence, I co-raised Kipper, a golden retriever who went on to live with a disabled 11 year old boy. Kipper helps this boy with everyday tasks, allowing him to have a little more independence. I learned so much about working with and caring for dogs through this experience. I also care for my own dog, who is alive and well at age 15. Over the past few years, I have helped my dad and stepmom with their small dog-walking business in Marblehead. I hope to find some dog-related opportunities closer to Boston/Cambridge. I am patient and I understand that different dogs have different needs. I am flexible with timing and happy to provide references!

Kayla is an excellent candidate to become a dog sitter. For one, Kayla has years of experience as a baby-sitter, and has been nothing but a joy for the children and families she has worked for. In addition, as a long-time dog owner herself, Kayla has more than demonstrated the skills necessary to care for any type of dog! Also, Kayla's stepmother runs her own dog caregiving service which Kayla has been able to gain valuable insight through a number of dogs and a variety of requests from different owners. Kayla is willing to adapt to the needs of specific dogs, and always seems to be able to win over a shy or timid dog. I highly recommend that Kayla become a dog sitter and continue to spread her love.
Kayla is a very special person. She has done extensive baby sitting and dog walking for many people. My wife has a dog walking and boarding business and Kayla has helped out many times. She is extremely reliable and especially caring. I would trust her with any dog walking and boarding situation.
