Hello! My name is Kayla. I started voluntering walking dogs at Capital Area when I was about 12. I then worked at Animal Care Unlimited from when I was 17 until I was 19 as a kennel technician. We were responsible for caring for the boarding/dayboarding animals (walks up to 6 times a day, feeding, medicating, playgroups, monitoring and reporting changes to DVM, updating clients on how their dogs are doing, bath and nail trims, ect) I have experience with all size, and temperament dogs.(and most other species including exotics). I currently work as a Veterinary Assistant for Healthy Pets of Wedgewood. (All reception, drawing vaccines up, assisting doctors, monitoring surgery, x rays, etc) I also offer bathing/nail trims. I have such a huge heart for all animals, and can cater to most dogs with special needs also. I am comfortable administering all oral/injectable medications. I do have 2 cats in my home and a yorkie that get along with all animals. I work about 3 minutes away from my apartment so I can always come feed/walk my client as needed.
