I live in a cozy townhouse, and I have a fenced-in backyard! I've got freelance and professional experience under my belt when it comes to working with animals. I'm professionally trained in dog behaviour and have worked with animals who have psychological and/or behavioural issues. I'm experienced with newborn kittens, and senior cats, as well as puppies and senior dogs. I used to work at Camp Bow Wow Ann Arbor before they closed down. When I'm not busy with pet sitting, I volunteer at HSHV or Tiny Lions.

Kayden took our puppy for 9 hours with only an hours notice! We got frequent updates and several pictures of our puppy during her time at Daycare, which helped us know she was happy! Kayden knew just how to handle our anxious, 1st time visitor and make her feel at ease and keep her happy while we explored the town!
Kayden has sat our pup many times and we are always so happy with the experience!
Kayden was great and we really appreciated knowing our dog was well taken care of and had fun. Really appreciated getting some pictures every day too!

The form I have you fill out will cover all information I will need to know. When filling out the form, please fill it out as detailed as you can. DO *NOT* RUSH THROUGH IT. Shots I require for daycare, grooming, and boarding; Rabies, Bordetella, Canine Influenza, Distemper, & a Negative Fecal Exam. If your dog is too young to be fully vaccinated, please make me aware before booking a meet & greet. This way I can ensure your pups' total safety and health. My pups are fully vaccinated. Shots I require for drop-ins and walks; Rabies.
A typical day
Rover is my full-time job, and the dogs have my full attention. Sometimes, I'm at HSHV volunteering, or I'm at other homes for drop-ins & walks. An alarm goes off every 2-4 hours to let the dogs go potty if they don't ask. If weather permits, my back door is left open, so the dogs can run in and out all day long. The upstairs and the basement is off-limits to dogs and pet parents. A typical day would include them playing with in-home toys and/or toys brought from home, they'd have access to running in and out of the house, and playing with my dogs or guest pups. There is a semi-strict policy on squeaky toys. I do not recommend bringing a squeaky toy. 10am - Breakfast 2pm - Lunch 6pm - Dinner At nighttime or while I'm away, my dogs go into their crates. If a crate is provided, your dog will go into their crate as well. If a crate is not provided, your dog will either go into the kitchen or living room with the gate closed. This is depending on the behaviour of your dog. I have music played at night for the pups to help them sleep.

Availability
With all new clients (excluding drop-in & walk clients), I will send a digital form. This form is universal, so I use the same form for daycare and boarding. I require that this form is filled out before your dog is dropped off with me for the first time. You are able to edit and update this form as many times as needed. I will also negotiate a meet & greet. For drop-ins and walks, this would take place in your home/residence. For daycare and boarding, this would take place in my home or at a dog park. I do generally accept last-minute bookings, only when there aren't other dogs being boarded at the same time. If there are other dogs, please know that a meet & greet is required at least one to three days before the booking. Daycare requests are a bit different, as they don't require a meet & greet before them for the pup to be booked. All meet & greets are 30 minutes. If you do not show up within 20 minutes of the meet & greet with no prior communication I will deem you a no-show. At 20 minutes, I will reach out again letting you know the meet & greet for the day has been cancelled, and will either try again for another day or archive the booking request altogether. During daycare, drop-ins, and boarding I offer private basic canine training for your pup. There is a difference between drop-ins and walks. A walk is booked as JUST a 30-minute walk. A drop-in visit is booked as a 30-minute visit that includes potty/feeding/medication/visiting/& playtime.
