Pet care experience
Hello! My animal care experience dates back 18 years in total. I have worked for the largest no-kill shelter in Arizona as an animal care tech, a vet tech, and an animal care manager, and I have also worked at a local shelter, as an animal care associate. I have experience in caring for animals in all walks of life, including those who are seniors and/or require specialty medical care. I have my own pets at home, which include two rescue dogs, two rescue cats, and a menagerie of reptiles. I am currently only taking boarding requests for cats, walking dogs, and doing drop in visits for any kind of pets you may have, but hoping to extend my services to dog boarding and daycare in the near future. I couldn’t be more happy with how accommodating Kaycie was with us. We had an AC emergency when I had sent my request for boarding. She responded almost immediately and was awaiting our arrival within an hour. It was truly touching that she had written on her porch in chalk “Welcome Marley”, it had been a stressful 24 hours with no ac, finding accommodations for our furbabies and working with my boss to cover shifts.. it was relieving to know that Marley was in a caring place while I took care of things at home. He even came out for pets from her, which he rarely does with strangers. 5 stars, 2 thumbs up.
Kaycie was great! There’s only a few people that I’ve ever had that know how to handle my two pups and Kaycie was awesome with them. So happy to have found her!
I needed someone on really short notice and was very lucky that Kaycie was available. I was sent pictures and the guys were are doing well. I will be sure and ask for Kaycie again.

For walking, I will only walk dogs if the temperature is 90 degrees or below, unless they have shoes to protect their paws. No shoes (beyond 90 degrees), no service! Any brachycephalic dogs (adorable, but compact face) will receive shorter walks due to overheating themselves, but I will make up the leftover time with play in the air conditioning. For drop ins at your home, I will treat your pets and home as my own. I love every animal I meet, even the naughty ones… hisses get kisses!

If your pet requires daily specialized care, I know how to give oral medications, injections, etc., but please let me know ahead of time so I can account for any extra time it may take.
A typical day
If your dog or cat is high energy, I will try to bring energy levels down through play. If your dog or cat is a couch potato, I can just hang out for a bit and give pets and reassurance. I am very tuned in to animals’ needs and will work with you to come up with a plan!
