Pet care experience
I've taken care of dogs since 2018, I currently work at a vet clinic it is called Meadowbrook Vet Clinic (Peoria, IL) on the boarding side. My job consists of feeding dogs, cleaning their runs, making sure they have clean water and taking dogs out 4x a day. Also, at work, I work at a doggy daycare so I am around dogs for about 8 hours a day reading behavior and monitoring their play. I am in Springfield for school I would love to continue taking care of animals while I am here.

Kayana has worked at our facility for 4 years. She shows the tremendous compassion for all the animals that come into our facility. She is responsible, compassionate, caring, and overall a great and reliable person. She has been trained to give medications such as insulin to animals and would be a fantastic caregiver to any pets in need.

I love playing with animals, I play with a rope toy at home with my pocket pit she is a ball of energy. If your pet has a lot of energy and needs a bit of a run on the walk, I will gladly do that as I am a retired athlete that would love to stay in shape!

Please let me know the activities your dog enjoys doing. I would also like to know if they have any triggers (things that make them angry or upset). I would also like to know if they have any aggression towards anything (food, toy, other dog aggression) that way I can work around those.
A typical day
I would love to do any activities that your dog enjoys doing; rope, frisbee, or fetch. I will usually take the dog to the nearest park, or just around the neighborhood.

Availability
I will usually be available for your pets between 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. I am available Monday - Thursday only, there may be a few weekends day that I am available.
