Hi, I’m Kaya! I live in NE Minneapolis with my partner Dan and our 12 year old cat Raji (who is very friendly!). We live in a spacious upper unit of a duplex with a fenced in backyard, and plenty of space for dogs to run around! I have taken care of dogs before but have never had one of my own! My partner and I are hoping to adopt in the future, but thought this might be a good stepping stone. We both are very active and love to go on long walks and runs, so a hyper dog is no problem! We both work about 3 days a week (due to the pandemic and reduced hours), but have overlapping schedules so someone is almost always home. I look forward to meeting you and your pet! ☺️

Kaya and Dan were super friendly and prompt in replying to me during my trip. It was my first time spending more than a night away from my dog, and they made it easy and relaxing. Magnus loved playing in their big yard and meeting other dogs in the neighborhood. He also enjoyed all of the long walks he was taken on. I will definitely trust Kaya and Dan again in the future!!
Kaya watches our dog Penny every time we go out of town. She is communicative, responsible, wonderful, caring and so loving! Our dog has a lot of energy and Kaya does a great job at giving her enough long walks, dog park visits and playtime.
Kaya loves all animals! She is tuned in with them. She shows extreme compassion and gentleness. Yet she can be firm and knows how to take care of pets. She shows responsibility and takes caring for animals seriously. Kaya has a calming presence with animals and has the intuition to communicate with them.
