I absolutely love animals! Unfortunately, growing up with 8 siblings, my parents didn't allow us to have many animals, they had enough of their own ; ) hehe. I moved to Austin almost 8 years ago from Hawai'i and for the past 6 years I've been dog sitting my nephew, Oonak, who is now a 9 year old black lab and many other dogs from friends or previous clients that I've met through Rover or work. From Pomeranian's and Beagles to Great Danes and German Sheppard's, I've loved them all. I definitely have more experience having bigger dogs in the home but since we’ve had children, I’m downsizing a bit to more Smaller-medium sized dogs. I understand completely that dogs are like children and they require a lot of attention and time, especially if they're young pups. I'm married with two children and my husband and I own a house in Bastrop. Our yard is fenced in and we’re on half an acre. I‘m a stay-at-home mother so your pup will never be left unattended and will always have outdoors time. I would consider myself very active and my husband is quite the couch potato, so whether you have a dog that requires a lot of running out or one who just lounges around the house, we could definitely give them the best of both worlds. We live fairly close to Bastrop State Park and I go to Austin very often to go hiking or swimming so you won't have to worry about if you're dog is getting enough exercise, I can guarantee you that they'll get their daily dose of outdoor activities. Whether they're sleepers, runners or swimmers, we'll get along just fine. I also love taking pictures of outdoors and animals so you can expect to get updates all of the time if you'd like.
