Nurturing/Engaged/Caring Provider🐈
Pet care experience
My name is Kae and I am a holistic nurse looking to provide compassionate and nurturing care for your cat family. Having cat sat for a friend and her 3 cats for 10 years, she trusted me to not only feed and care for her cats physical needs, she was happy that I provided service beyond her expectations. I provided nurturing touch, massage, and conversation. We danced and played together. They thrived in a calm environment provided in their home so their daily routines were maintained. Playtime, relaxation time, and alone time were supported. As a holistic nurse I was able to be present and receptive to their changing needs. I would communicate their progress to their owner (mom). Overnights were up to two weeks in length. I ensured the cat areas (food, litter, and play areas were cleaned and tidy. I volunteered at a rescue shelter for cats and kittens providing care and socialization.
Reviews
Kae is a super reliable pet sitter who cares about animals. She stayed with our cat in our home for a week. Kae sent photos during the week and gave him kitty massages. He seemed calm and happy when we returned and our home was in perfect shape. I’m happy to give Kae 5 stars.
Karen (Kae) has devoted her life to compassionate care in her career as a holistic nurse in one of the country's top hospital systems. This attentive care extends to her love for animals as well. In fact, she's truly got one of the biggest hearts I've ever known. She's shown herself to be a dedicated and responsible pet owner herself in the past, with her late, beloved cat, Oodles, and has taken care of my own dog, Jake on many occasions. She worked for years as a surgical nurse and ran her own successful small business, so she certainly possesses the responsibility and detail-oriented personality to put your mind at ease that your pet will be in the safe hands of a seasoned caregiver.
Kay loves animals and animals love Kay. She is very dependable and conscientious about the work she does. I have seen her charm a parrot, love up cats and give time and attention to dogs. She is trustworthy of being in your home and giving your pet the utmost care. She has cared for my own dog in the past and others cats and dogs. Your pet will be in good hands with Kay.

I am a cat sitter: I support alone time I let the cat lead the way When the cat is ready to interact, we will interact In many ways: Play time Brushing Massage and Touch Therapy Sessions Treats as prescribed per owner Music for relaxation Photo sessions to send to cat/kitten parents While cat parents were across the country, their cat, who was experiencing a chronic condition, fell acutely ill and stopped eating. The veterinarian suggested euthanasia as the cat was suffering, the parents trusted me enough to allow me to be present during this process. I acted as end of life doula for their precious pet. I was honored to hold and comfort him. His parents were extremely grateful that their beloved cat did not have to suffer for a week, until they returned from their business trip. As a nurse, I am comfortable with oral medications and if oriented to the specific injectable medication, I am able to provide that care, as well.
