Animal Behavior Specialist!

Pet care experience

I am a professional, certified Animal Behaviorist with a lot of experience and love behind everything I do! I have worked with dogs and other animals in a professional capacity for over 10 years! I love nothing more then hanging out and helping my furry friends. ;) I have over 7 years professional Housesitting and Dog walking experience, and even owned my own company during that time. I also took the time to get my Animal Behaviorism Certification and can offer puppy, dog, and therapy training backed by the ABC College! (Cats, too!) I am very experienced dealing with and training pups who exhibit aggression, anxiety, fear, destructive habits as well as many other areas of canine behavior! I have a equal or even greater experience dealing with horses, goats, pigs, chickens and other ranch and farm animals! I’d love to take care of all of your critters, great and small! I can't wait to meet you and your pup and learn all about you both!

In the past we’ve not scheduled vacations as we did not feel confident leaving our three dogs with a pet sitter. Once I met Kay and introduced her to our dogs, I became much more comfortable and we had her housesit while on vacation for 5 days. Kay is amazing with dogs. Two of our dogs are nervous with strangers and Kay understood how to work with their behaviors and was able to gain their trust. Her training and knowledge of dog behavior is a tremendous asset that is unusual to find in a pet sitter. She gave our herding breed dog lots of exercise and individual play time. And because she understands dog body language and cues, she had no problem keeping the peace among our three dogs which can sometimes be tricky. Kay is extremely professional and kept us updated on our dogs and bird with each visit. She is highly reliable and truly enjoys all animals. We feel fortunate that we will be able to call on Kay again for future pet sitting and I know each of our dogs will be excited for her future visits as well!

Kay is AWESOME. She managed our two pitbulls with ease, keeping them out of trouble on walks all while providing so much love and attention to them. They LOVED her so much!
