Pet care experience
I grew up on a farm and have had dogs my entire life. We currently have 5 including 3 seniors (18 15, 10), a 3 year old coonhound and a 1 year old beagle lab mix. All of our dogs have been trained by me. I’m also skilled in giving medicine (eye, ear & oral), feeding tubes and subcutaneous fluids. We often petsit for family and friends and I have volunteered at animal shelters in the past. Our dogs run our house…LOL. When we are away, the 3 seniors have free reign while the coonhound and beagle/lab mix are crated. Everyone is fed separately due to prescription diets and our coonhound’s desire to eat everyone’s food so demanding feeding schedules are second nature. We also have 2 that require daily medications.

Since 2 of my own are/were escape artists, I’m paranoid about fences and gates. I always stay outside when your pets are outdoors. I double check doors/gates to make sure they are closed. I ensure collars/harnesses are properly tightened before walks.

I’ll be on vacation 5/4-5/21. Responses during this time may be delayed but I am accepting bookings for dates after 5/21. Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or requirements. It’s also helpful to know if your dog is dog aggressive or fearful beforehand if you’d like me to walk him/her.
A typical day
I love to do what you dog loves whether it’s taking a long walk around the neighborhood, playing with toys or snuggles on the couch.

I work full time from home so my schedule tends to be very flexible. I am available for morning, lunchtime, evening or even bedtime visits.
