Pet Loving Retiree Ready to Help
Pet care experience
I have always had dogs and cats and love to play and walk with them. I have extensive experience with rescue and senior dogs and training puppies.
Reviews
Kay is the sweetest and most thoughtful caregiver. She is consistent and reliable. Kay always leaves thoughtful notes about my dog when she stops in. I am very grateful to have Kay as caregiver in our weekly routine.
Absolutely wonderful! Kay was able to receive instructions to feed, take out and play with our dog within less than 24 hours of the work starting. We are very grateful for her!!!
Kay is reliable, consistent and trustworthy. I know she cares about my pup and always sends updates and pictures.
If you're seeking a pet sitter who combines reliability, excellent communication, and an unmatched love for animals, Kay is the person!

Safety, trust & environment
I spend time with dogs and cats to make friends before feeding or getting into their space. I find talking to them helps them relax. On walks I avoid areas with heavy traffic and loud noises (there are plenty of parks in the East Bay). I have a travel crate that can be used to transport a dog to a park.
Information Kay G. would like to know about your pet
I for drop in visits I need to know about schedule, medication and the care routine the dog is used to. For walking, it is helpful to know about the dog's leash behavior.
A typical day
Dogs need play time as well as walks, so I like to learn about their favorite toys and games. That can be throwing balls, playing with toys or just running around. I prefer to walk dogs in parks with good trails, such as Point Isabel, the Albany Bulb, Sausal Creek Trail, etc.
Services
Kay can watch in your home
Availability
As a retiree my schedule is very flexible, including working hours on weekdays. I take walks every day, so let your dog join me! Drop in visits are also welcome.
