I'm Kay and I live with Lexie (11 yr old pitbeagle mix) , Phinie (2 yr old velociraptor) and my rescued stray cat. I was a long-term dog rescue foster home, walker and volunteer until Lexie and I found each other, and I adopted Phinie during the pandemic. We'd love to look after your dog when you're out of town. I am happy bathing, administering medicine, whatever your pup needs while they're staying here with us. Phinie is scared of strangers so you won’t meet her but she’s fine with slow supervised introductions by me in the garden. Your dog should be ok with cats, ideally, but we can make it work if you’re not sure about their cattasticness. I’m working from home full time throughout the summer. Dogs all go for an early morning walk of at least a mile (45 mins to allow for sniff stops) and then have the run of the fenced yard all day. If your dog needs more activity, additional evening walks and maybe the occasional run are happily provided. I have a fenced yard and dog gates to section off parts of the house if separation is needed. I also have a crate for dogs that prefer it. Dogs are allowed on furniture and the bed.
