I was raised around companion and farm animals alike, and have 7 years of professional experience in the animal field consisting of animal shelter work, veterinary medicine, and boarding facility management. I have a bachelors degree in animal sciences, and hundreds of hours in training within the respective fields. I am extremely detail oriented, attentive, punctual, responsible, and flexible. I treat any animal as I do my own therefore spoiled yet structured. First and foremost we own and take pride in our home so if your pet has separation anxiety, destructive tendencies, is incontinent or otherwise not 100% fully potty trained please seek another sitter. (I can make exceptions for very young puppies). Any pet in my care whether in your home or mine would be taken care of to the industry standard with a more home-like approach keeping safety as a top priority always. You can trust that through my years of experience in differing fields and relative education, I would be able to provide excellent care to your pet in need. They will also get to play with my dogs if they are dog friendly. Any dog boarding (3+ nights) with me will receive a complimentary bath and nail trim as long as I can complete safely! I can provide bedding/food if needed but I always recommend bringing your own! I will require proof of bordetella, distemper/parvo, and rabies vaccines before entering my home and I am strict on this policy for the safety of my own animals as well as any other clients. While rover has specific times for drop off and pickup, I am very flexible on these. I can do evenings! Just contact me with any special needs. For any drop ins or walks I can comply to an array of instruction tailored to your pets needs. Please do not hesitate to give me all of the details, I want to care for them as they are used to. Any pet in my care would stay in the home with me whether in our room (even on our bed), or their own dog bed if that is what they are used to. We live on over 2 acres that are fully fenced (4 feet high) so they would be able to roam the property while supervised. During house sitting I can adhere to an array of routines, just let me know. I generally spend most of the day and all night at your home except for when I need to go home and care for my own pets twice per day. I also have a four year old and a 6 month old that would generally be in tow as well. I do not work at my other jobs on weekends so I am available all day all night to be with your pet(s). I am the facility manager part time at a local pet boarding facility as well as I do take clients part time for my Cosmetic Tattoo business which may pull me away from the home for a few hours here and there. When I do have to leave I generally place the pet in a kennel if it came with one or into a carpeted bedroom. If this will not work for your pet please seek another sitter.
