Bilingual Animal Lover!
Pet care experience
I grew up on a cattle ranch in rural Texas, and I have always loved getting to interact with animals and get to know their individual personalities. I learned first-hand how to take care of all animals, large and small. Just to name a few, I have raised dogs, cats, horses, cows, donkeys, rabbits, betta fish, and chickens throughout my life. I am especially connected to dogs and cats, and I have two cats of my own at home. I work part time as a Veterinary Assistant, and I have a flexible schedule to help out with dog walking, drop-in visits, pet-sitting, and more! I have experience providing pet hospice care, medication administration, and diabetic care support as well. I have my own transportation and can provide services anywhere in the Baltimore area. Fun fact about me: I’m an aspiring polyglot, and can speak English and Spanish fluently, with skills in French, Italian, Haitian Creole, and am working on learning more languages!
Reviews
Kay Beth is the best. Really. Our puppy loves her and she comes through to give our labradoodle the best walks when we need her most. Will certainly book Kay Beth again!
First time working with Kay Beth - great communication & Flint was happy !!
I really appreciate how responsive Kay Beth is in taking good care of Spector, and in short notice. Will certainly book again!
KB was everything Boyd wanted in a dog walker/friend for an afternoon! Friendly, reliable, accommodating, and even took him out to a park his dad never took him to before! Will definitely work with her again!

I am very conscientious with my client’s homes, and am careful to never wear my shoes inside. If you are missing your pet while they are in my care, I am happy to capture pictures and videos of their cute moments and send them to you! As a pet parent myself, I know how anxiety-inducing leaving them behind during trips and vacations can be. I will treat your fur baby and your home like my own, and will provide them with all the love and attention they deserve while you are away. Daily water and food replenishment, bowl cleaning, and pet waste removal are included as a standard service for all clients. In addition to pet services, I can check your mailbox, bring in packages, water houseplants, and I'll even take out the garbage if you let me know the right days for your neighborhood ahead of time. (If you have a garden or a lot of houseplants, I'll ask for a written list of watering days.) For any house-sitting clients, I always request a little house tour before the booking starts so that you can show me where the pet supplies are located, where I'll be staying, and any house quirks that I may need to know. For drop-in visits of 3 days or more, I will request a house tour as well. Drop-in Visits: After completing the daily tasks, I spend time giving affection and attention to your fur babies by petting them, brushing their coats, and playing with them if they are in the mood during my visit. I reserve drop-in visits primarily for cat or small animal care (sorry, no snakes). For example, if you have a small pet(s) and a dog who needs a walk, the services have to be separate bookings due to time constraints. Boarding Services: I only take kitty-friendly boarding clients in my home because I have two fur babies of my own. If your pet does not have prior experience with cats, and you would like to book with me, I am happy to host a trial visit free of charge to see if everyone gets along. My two friendly cats are up-to-date on all their vaccinations and love to make new friends, but primarily hang out in my bedroom when we have visitors. The living room has plenty of dog toys and a couch where my clients can have space to chill out and relax during their stay. Does your pup love to play outside? I have a grassy backyard that is fenced in on three sides with a tie-out system set up to allow my clients plenty of space to roam and play freely. In the hot summer months, I can set up a doggy splash pad if your doggy likes to play in water as well!

Information Kay Beth T. would like to know about your pet
For me, it’s important to know if your dog has any allergies or history of aggressive behavior towards other dogs or humans. This way, I can keep everyone as safe as possible on our walks and during our time together. Some dogs just need space from others to be their best, and that is okay. My philosophy is always to meet each animal where they are on their journey rather than take a cookie-cutter approach to all pets.
A typical day
On a typical day with me, your dog and I can go on walks in the nearby parks or nature preserves nearby! I am a long-distance runner and love to be in nature. I love taking my doggy clients on adventures in one of the the many parks in Baltimore. If your pet is more of a home-body or needs privacy, no worries! Watching reality TV is one of my favorite hobbies, so there is always something we can do together :) I also offer bathing and grooming services as needed or if we get a little too muddy on our adventures. Additionally, I can provide enrichment activities, training reminders, and companionship for dogs of all ages and sizes! If you have a large dog who needs a running buddy, or a senior dog who needs extra attention and patience, I’m your girl! For my kitty clients I provide daily chin scritches, playtime with toys, numerous pats, and as much love and cuddles as they will allow. I may or may not resort to catnip bribes in exchange for kitty affection.
