Hello, my name is Katy and I am a junior at UCF with a Biology major working my way to becoming an equine veterinarian. I have extensive animal experience starting with having dogs in my family since I was born, and will always treat your pet as if it was my own. I also have two years of work experience in a small animal veterinary clinic that specialized in dogs and cats. My responsibilities included supervising pets' vital signs during surgical and dental procedures, watching for signs of distress when recovering from surgeries as well as taking care of both cats and dogs that were boarded at the clinic. Currently, I am the sole care giver of my dog Maggie and work at a horse barn feeding and cleaning stalls. There is a large grassy area right in front of my apartment for walks and I am five minutes away from the dog park. During the week I have classes, but I do not generally spend much time on campus other than that. I will treat your pet as my own, and I can't wait to meet you!
