Animals are my passion. From childhood until present, I have always been surrounded by dogs, cats, hamsters, etc. I absolutely love being around furry (and scaly or feathery) friends! That being said, it is no surprise that I work in the animal care field. I have worked as a Surgical Veterinary Technician for the past 6 years. I am fully capable of looking after dogs that require medication, dealing with messy situations and providing TLC. Your dog will feel like a king or a queen in my care as I will treat her like my own dogs. Whether they stay with me or I stay with them, I will make sure your dog is fed, taken out, played with and above all: LOVED! I'm mostly available weekends, though I can housesit during the week as well. I try to be as flexible as my schedule will allow, so I can work with you and your dog! Call me for more information!

We could not have found a more perfect sitter for our dogs. They had SO MUCH fun at Katy's house that I think they were disappointed when we picked them up to go home! They had so much fun playing with Brody (and Brody's toys), and Katy sent plenty of pictures, which I LOVED getting while on vacation. Katy's veterinary tech experience made me completely comfortable with leaving Maggie and Wally in her care. I have never had a better experience with a pet sitter - five stars isn't enough to express how happy we were with Katy!
Katy was an excellent pet sitter. I have multiple animals that require medications and to be monitored closely which almost caused me to cancel my vacation until Katy offered to pet sit. I felt very comfortable knowing that she was watching them and giving them the love and care I would have. I love that she has experience as a vet tech because I feel like she know what to look for with animals and how to care for animal that need meds. I would highly recommend her.
I have known Katy for several years as she is the vet tech at the vet that I use both for my personal dogs and also for the dogs in my rescue. I own Rescue Dogs Rock Animal Rescue and Katy is also one of my fosters. I trust him COMPLETELY with any of my rescues. She is beyond knowledgable, kind, compassionate, doting, and patient. She is amazing with dogs of all personalities and really shows them such love! She is wonderful!
Katy is a kind hearted person with a passion for animals of all kinds. She cares for my dogs with a great amount of compassion and love. Additionally she cares for her own and looks out for ones which don't have owner's to place them when possible.

Before dog sitting, I like to know the dog's medical history in case there is anything I need to be on the look out for. I also like to know the dog's general habits (i.e. potty time, play time, mood, etc.), likes, dislikes and favorite treats. I am open to dog sitting any breed of dog.
A typical day
You can trust that your dog will have lots of fun when he/she is in my care! We will take walks around my neighborhood or yours. If you live near a dog park, I am more than willing to walk your dog there so he/she can have some time to socialize with other dogs. In addition, I love playing with dogs. I can spend plenty of time tossing a ball or a squeak toy to make sure your dog is well-occupied and exhausted by the end of the day! Your dog will not grow bored or destructive while you're gone. I can guarantee it!
