Pet care experience
My family got our first dog when I was 5 and I have had dogs ever since. In the past few years, I have been fostering rescue dogs to help them find homes. This has been full time training, walking, and socializing! At the beginning of 2022 I adopted one of my foster dogs and have trained him to be a service dog so I am always in training mode! I have had many friends and family rely on me to watch, walk, and take care of their dogs while they’re away and would love to help you as well!

I immediately felt comfortable having Katy care for Reno after our meet and greet. She seems to have a lot of experience with larger and high energy dogs based on my observed interaction with her and Reno. Based on the pictures she shared, I can tell that he was very comfortable with her energy and that she stood up for his best interests. Caring sitters are a dime a dozen but I think Katy has a way with animals that is unmatched based on my previous experiences. This is next level value for the care of your animal!
This was our first time booking on Rover - with very short notice and a lofty request to watch our 8 month old puppy. It was important for us to find someone to keep up with exercising and training our willful adolescent and we feel incredibly lucky to have found Katy! Katy was responsive, flexible, and respectful of our home. Most importantly, Katy was skilled and attentive to the needs of our dog and allowed us to enjoy our vacation knowing our beloved pup was in capable and loving hands. Thank you, Katy!

Prior to watching your dog, it would be great if you could let me know what types of activity are best for your dogs as well as any rules and training that you have put in place that you would like continued while I am with your pup. it is also helpful for me to know anything that may be important during walks or during play.
A typical day
I love to keep dogs active both physically and mentally by providing lots of fun games as well as physical exercise both indoors and outdoors. my dog loves to go walking in the forest preserves and I would be happy to take your dog there or to any places that you know your dog enjoys!
