I have been dogsitting on and off for the past 12 years and have loved taking care of the animals as I would if I had an animal of my own! I have successfully fostered 2 dogs through OTATpdx (in Portland, OR) until they found their forever homes. Dogs have a special place in my heart and I love caring for any type of dog!

If you want someone to love your dog and treat them as their own, I promise you, you want Katy! We had an AMAZING experience with Katy as our sitter! Lincoln was happy, and very well taken care of. We got tons of updates and photos too! Katy was super diligent about following all of our notes for our pup, and we felt super comfortable. Can't say enough good things here!
Katy helped dog and house sit for us many times. She is reliable, conscientious, and so good with our dog, Pogo. Pogo is otherwise an anxious dog but warmed up to Katy immediately. She sends us updates and photos while away. She's terrific! You'll be lucky if you can snag her for dog sitting.

A typical day
I love to walk the dogs I watch first thing in the morning, with a nice breakfast afterward. Some play time, in the house with bones/toys and outside during the day. Evening time, I like to take a nice stroll in the neighborhood and end with some nice dinner. Some more relaxing and potty breaks and sweet dreams for them!

I just moved back to the east coast after living in Portland, Oregon for the past 12 years to be closer to family. I work Monday through Friday in downtown Durham around 9am-5pm.
