Hi! My name is Katy and I am 25 ; currently living in the Highlands, just a couple blocks away from Cherokee Park! Offering dog walking and/or dog sitting services to anyone who is in need (for any duration of time)! Rover has been such a dream part time job for me. I’ve had a special connection with dogs and really all animals since I was a little girl so this has always been something I’d hoped I’d have the opportunity to do! I’m extremely flexible and I am willing to provide overnight care if ever needed! I love being outdoors and would be happy to take your dogs on as long of a walk as they can stand!

I do have a pup of my own! He is a 5 year old lab / Pyrenees mix who is just a giant baby & LOVES other dogs. For house / dog sitting, I will try my absolute best to make your pet’s schedule / activities / feeding & potty breaks, etc as similar to their normal routine as possible! I know how important it is for pets to feel comfort & security from routine consistency to their normal everyday life.

I have 5+ years experience with giving oral medication to dogs of all ages & sizes. I also always feed separately on boarding requests, in case food aggression has been an issue in the past. I am happy to do the same with toys if toy aggression has ever been an issue,
A typical day
While living a block away from Cherokee Triangle / Park, I always take my pup, Ozzie, on 3 long walks a day. Usually around 7:30 a.m, noon, & 7 p.m. Then around 4:30-5 p.m, we will go up to Cochran Hill dog park inside of Cherokee park for some daily social play!!

Availability
I have a lot of flexibility with my work schedule & am available most days & times! I wake up around 7 a.m & usually head to sleep around 10 p.m. Usually take my dog on walks 3-4 a day & go to the park plenty throughout the week!
