I have been taking care of dogs from puppies to seniors from Yorkies to Great Danes for as long as I can remember. We had a huge backyard growing up and we were basically known as the pet hospital. If you found an animal you brought it to us. This led to my sister and I taking care of a wide range of different animals, but we always loved the dogs the most. I currently have one 7 year old boxer, named Axel. He is my pride and joy and gets along with everyone/everything. All dogs would have free range of the air conditioned Florida room and the backyard. I only work 6 miles away so I come home often to care and offer love! I do offer early or late check in and check out the rates are as follows: Check In: Before 8:00 AM- $15.00 Between 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM- no extra charge Late Check In- Anytime after 5:00 PM- $15.00 Check Out: Before 8:00 AM- $15.00 Between 8:00 AM- 1:00 PM- no extra charge Late Check In- Anytime after 1:00 PM- Extra night fee Thank you!!

Katy was extremely nice and welcoming when I dropped off Baloo. Communication was effective and easy. Baloo hasn't mastered speaking English yet, but I think she had a fun time. I would absolutely consider using Katy and Phillip if we're in the area again.

Thank you so very much to Katy and Phillip for taking such excellent care of my two girls. Lexie and JoJo could not have been in better hands. The beautiful inside with the big comfy couch and the fenced outside area is the perfect "resort style" set up for any dog. Communication was fantastic, and I knew I didn't have to worry about my babies at all.
This was our first time using Rover, and Katy and Phillip were very pleasant and and easy to deal with. They messaged us to let us know Belle was doing well. We felt very comfortable and confident leaving Belle with them. We will definitely use them again.

Information Katy &Phillip N. would like to know about your pet
Any breed is welcome. My main concern is a bite history, or history of aggression with either children or other animals. I also have experienced a lack of house training in some of the furry friends that say they are house broken. I am fine taking all dogs as long as they are behaved but I need to know prior to booking if marking, and going #1 and #2 inside is going to be an ongoing issue. Please even if you think it could be a possibility let me know so I can take the appropriate precautions prior to hosting the dog, dogs will be dogs so I completely understand an accident here and there I just need to prep my home prior to arrival. Thank you for your consideration! :)
A typical day
I live in Saint Augustine South which I believe to be one of the best walking neighborhoods in Saint Augustine. I typically will take the dogs on individual walks to enjoy the fresh air and go down by the water, if they are comfortable. There is a wide area where they can splash around and play catch or Frisbee, or if they are more of a lounging pup we can take a break under the shade of the trees looking out at the water in the community.
