I have always loved dogs from the minute we brought home Tanga, my childhood German Shepherd. My dog was my protector and rarely left my side, I discovered a lifelong love for pups of all shapes and sizes. In college I lived with my best friend when she brought home Jackson, an Australian Shepherd who I helped raise until she (and him) moved away. Jackson had an insane amount of energy and kept us on our toes from day one. I'm definitely experienced with high energy dogs and ready for some exercise. From morning walks to trips to the dog park, I'm ready for lots of activity. I'm a talented and loving doggie caretaker and an "Auntie" to my friends' and families' pups. When my friends brought home a brand new Rhodesian ridgeback/lab mix puppy I helped with the beginning stages of training. I spent a lot of time with Buckley making sure that he was trained the way his parents wanted. I think it's so important to learn how owners want their dogs trained and what the rules are when you are watching them such as feeding people food from the table or reinforcing new tricks. Consistency is so important in those early years and the dogs put in my care will most certainly have that. I work at a local restaurant so my days are usually open to walk dogs. I volunteer at the Brooklyn location of the Animal Care Center as well. I would love to take care of your dogs because I have a true love for our four legged friends.
