I've worked at a Dog Daycare facility for over a year and obtained experience in all facets of a dog's care- the most important being safely socializing the dogs and training them to be polite and courteous to fellow dogs and humans. I currently work with dogs at another daycare and I enjoy training them as much as I can along the way. In addition to that, I volunteer weekly at a shelter to socialize pups who need some loving, get a good feel of dog behaviors to look out for/how to work with those dogs, and help them become more adoptable by teaching them basic training. One of the biggest things I will focus on in walking dogs is for them to be safe and have fun. If they aren't enjoying it, I'm not enjoying it either!
