Pet care experience
i’ve grown up with dogs and cats my whole life. i started volunteering at my hometown humane society when i was 17 for three years, then got hired and worked there for 3 more years, in 2021 i got hired at a doggy daycare/boarding facility and had to leave in july 2022 due to moving to a new state. i’ve also had some experience with grooming during the 6 years i was at the humane society.

Katy is an amazing caretaker of animals. She loves cats and dogs and is very attentive to the needs of not only her pets but others’ as well. Katy is a very trustworthy and responsible person. All of these combined traits make her the perfect candidate to take care of your furbaby. She will treat them like they are her own.

i will ensure they get the exercise and one-on-one time they need. i follow instructions thoroughly and precisely as my clients would want me to follow. i am reliable and i have so much love to give to pets. i have 3 pets of my own that are fully vaccinated and spayed/neutered and microchipped. i can also provide basic training if requested by the pets owners.

i need to know of any allergies the pet may have so i can give them the right treats/food. i need to know if the pet has any reactivity towards certain people/animals/things to ensure our walks/car rides will go smoothly. if they have any triggers that might make them uncomfortable (i.e. sudden movements, hats, certain clothing, etc.,)
A typical day
i can provide basic dog training if requested by the owner. i can provide mental stimulation for the pet as long as the owner can help with purchasing the toys/games for them. i can take them out for pup cups if requested by the owner. i will take them to parks for nice walks during the evening/early mornings when the floor isn’t too hot, unless the owner has some boots for their pet. i will be taking plenty of pictures so the owners know their pets are in good hands!

i am currently not working so i am available anytime until i can find a job. but when i do find a job, it will be part-time so i can still fit in some clients during my days off. as of right now, i have open availability.
