Hi, I am Katy, full on dog lover! I am an Acupuncturist with an office in Studio City, I also live in the Sherman Oaks area. I've had dogs since I was 5 years old! Work experience-I worked at a vet's office for a year and at the SPCA in Texas for 2 years, Sitting experience- dog sitting for the last 4 years regularly for friends and clients. I have watched 1-3 dogs at a time, small dogs to big lovable labs (also some cats). I have no breed preference I love pitties and chihuahuas:) Rescue experience- I have been a part of the rescue community for many years since working at the SPCA, and have fostered regularly as well as volunteered most recently with Downtown Dog Rescue and Marley's Mutts. I am available for daily walks, check-ins, giving medication, and to stay in your home with your pets, so they are comfortable and stress free. I will provide love as well as boundaries for your pets. I am active and healthy and am able to take dogs for long walks as well as play their favorite games. I like to know as much about a dog's schedule so that I may maintain it, as well as what behaviors you want and don't want. Ex. sleeping on the bed or getting on the couch, I will follow your instructions. I have experience with many types of dogs, and can give medication. I am looking to earn extra income as well as spent quality time with amazing dogs.
