Katy is firm and loving with dogs. She has known my dog she since was a puppy and has always managed my dog's energy very well. She is also adept at taking care of both her child, my child, and my dog at the same time! She multitasks very well, and I'm sure that she would do well walking multiple dogs at the same time. She is responsible and fun loving.

What Katy would like to know about your dog

Among the dogs I have cared for are a neurotic Blue Heeler, an elderly sleepy lab, a high wired Chihuahua-Dachshund puppy, a pair of Leonbergers, rescue Pit Bulls and several Golden Retrievers. What I love about dogs is what I love about people—they each have their own history and distinct personality.

Like getting to know anyone, canine or human, I great the other enthusiastically, read body language, and get to know them over time. I will usually gain the trust of a dog by treating them with care, respect, plenty of walks, water, and treats.
