Hi I’m Katy! I’m a former volunteer at a New Hampshire animal shelter, recently moved to California, and have grown up with and around dogs my whole life. I’d love to walk and provide enrichment for your dog when you can’t be there! I have experience with many breeds due to the shelter environment I volunteered in, have learned to “pack walk” six dogs at once, and recently completed a course in animal CPR/emergency muzzling/first aid. I am infinitely curious about animal behavior, training, and socialization, and spend a lot of my free time researching ways to make dogs lives better.

There is no one who I trust as a dog sitter more than Katy. She has been taking care of my 1 year old Jack Russell Terrier, Gus, when I am away for almost a year near now. When she watches him, she always makes sure he gets enough exercise, plays with him for hours and spoils him with love. She is extremely responsible and loving of all dogs. I highly recommend Katy as a dog caregiver!

I understand the importance of spacial boundaries with dogs & will always use a leash unless you are working on something specific training wise with your dog. Your dog must have 100% recall to be off leash with me. I do not go to dog parks.
