Pet care experience
I am a lifelong animal lover and dog owner who has three fur babies of my own. Koda is an extremely social and friendly 3 year old Great Bernese hybrid and Harley is a lazy 14 year old Newfoundland mix. I have years of experience dog sitting and volunteer with multiple animal rescues in and around Indianapolis in my free time. I absolutely love dogs and will treat your dogs like part of my little family! I am happy to administer medicine (both my dogs take medicine daily), am conscious of allergies and happy to accommodate, and happily accept puppies that have not yet been potty trained. Both of my dogs were adopted at 9 weeks, so I am well versed in puppy and potty training. I have most experience with large and giant breeds, but am happy to accept any and all four-legged friends! I am very quick to respond to messages and am happy to accept bookings on short notice! 💜 Of note: Please make sure your pups are up-to-date on their vaccinations and not currently ill (contagious) before requesting boarding services. Puppies who are not yet 4 months, and therefore have not received all 3 rounds of their booster shots, are exempt from this requirement and will be protected by “herd immunity” within my home. I will not request or require vaccination records for your convenience, but instead operate on the honor system. Please help me ensure the health and safety of your pups and my own! About my home: I live in a house near Hamilton Town Center with a secure, fenced in backyard. I have optimized my home for my dogs and for yours. I have 4 large dog beds that are regularly laundered. Your fur babies are allowed on the furniture and bed just like my own. I have tons of dog toys, treats, and antlers/bones (absolutely no rawhide ever). I am able and happy to accommodate friendly pups of any and all sizes/breeds, any age, and up to two dogs per household. Kathy was super great! She sent us videos and pictures almost everyday so we don’t get tensed. She monitored him and helped hash maintain a good schedule. Hash loved playing with kathys dogs. There is a park at kathys apartment where hash enjoyed his walks and play time with other dogs. Overall a very good stay and would book Kathy again definitely in the future! :)

Katy was the perfect sitter for our high energy 1.5 yr old Siberian Husky, Koko. Koko played with Katy's dogs very well. Katy was responsive and sent several photos/videos during the stay. Koko was exhausted, happy, and healthy after the stay. I will certainly be a repeat client!
Great experience! My dog got lots of play time and loved being with other dogs. Katy was flexible with pick up and drop off times and was very friendly!

This is all so I am able to provide the best customized care for your fur baby! Please note: I am not able to accept dogs in my home with separation anxiety or destructive habits. A typical day
I love providing a fun and positive experience for the dogs staying with me! Playful dogs can run free in my fenced yard, join my dogs and I on our daily walks, and play with the many toys in my home. My dogs also love to lounge in the kiddie pool and play in the sprinkler on hot days. Lazy dogs are welcome lounge around on our many dog beds and enjoy and chew treat! No matter your dog’s energy level, we will find something fun for them to enjoy. I love nothing more than seeing repeat customers book with me and hearing that their dogs get super excited pulling in my neighborhood because they know where they’re headed!

I work from home full-time, so my pups get around the clock care and so would yours! This allows me to provide frequent potty breaks, one-on-one attention throughout the day, as well as frequent exercise (play time in our fenced in backyard and walks).
