I've loved animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I had friends who had numerous pets such as turtles, fish, mice, rats, cats and dogs. I learned early after falling hard for a stray cat I named Colors that I was allergic to her. I still fed her and played with her everyday despite the hives and asthma she gave me. Unfortunately, I never had a pet growing up but my friends had several with whom I had the opportunity to adopt so to speak. I used to visit them and happily walk my friends dogs, feed them and play with them. One of my favorite dogs I learned to know was a Doberman Pinscher named Dots. She was a little ominous to strangers but lovable and goofy to the family (which I considered to be a part of). Since then my love grew for the bigger dog and now that I'm all grown up I
