I grew up with dogs in my family since I was at least 3 years old. I helped care for them, feed, dog sit, walk, etc. I have had a job at a dog daycare and boarding, adhering to strict routines for each dog. About 3.5 years ago my husband and I got our dog, Roxie; a 6.5 year old aussie beagle mix. I also have experience with snakes, bearded dragons, and birds. I can care for cats but I am slightly allergic, so I just need to make sure to wash my hands more and that they don't touch my face. I have volunteered at a rescue farm and worked with animals such as goats, sheep, pigs, horses, ponies, chickens, cows, and bunnies. My husband and I share a wonderful dream of building and running a rescue for farm animals and dogs(more specifically senior dogs). We hope to do that within the next 5-10 years here in Oregon. NOTE: I will be the only one caring for your pet, my husband will not help as he is not a registered caretaker. He may tag along but he would stay in our car.
