Hello! I grew up with dogs and have had my own for seven years. I love dogs and enjoy their exuberance, ability to live in the moment, and the unlimited laughter and companionship they bring. I believe that in order to make their time on earth the best it can be, they need to be given clear expectations for their behavior- which in turn allows them to be brought along to do more fun stuff. Any dog in my care will wait calmly for permission to eat, get out of the car, grab a toy, etc. and will be rewarded by walks, runs, frisbee, tug of war, playing “find it,” belly rubs, etc. If they don't know how, I will help them learn! I’m home much of the day with my dog, Pluto, who loves other dogs. If it’s ok with you, I can bring him on walks or I can leave him home. If your dog stays with me, Pluto will be there.
