Pet care experience
I have always had the innate ability to connect quickly with dogs' varying personalities. A breed does not define who a dog is and I am vehemently opposed to dog breed prejudice! My experience includes caring for dogs with illnesses, wounds and behavioral issues. Any special treatment, diet, etc; will strictly be adhered to! I have some (non-professional) grooming and dog training experience as well. Many homes with dogs also have cats or other animals and I am more than happy to care for them as well. (Snakes, etc. welcome, but NO roaches as they are the ONLY animal I have a phobia of.) I am available for drop-ins and walks daily from 4pm to 4am. I can do stay-overs / house-sitting on the weekends.

I have known Katrina for over twenty years. She is the first and ONLY person I would trust with my dog. She always goes the extra mile when caring for your pet. My friend and I take vacations together and we leave our pets in her care. My friend has two cats. Kat takes animals very serious. She gives them love and attention. When we return we find the animals fed and groomed and happy. Any pet owner should feel confident in leaving their pet in her care.
I have known Katrina for many years now and the love she has towards dogs (and cats and all other animals!) is insurmountable. I've always known her to work with local animal rescues, and the love and fascination she shows towards a new animal is astounding. She also makes time to venture around town feeding and watering local strays and always makes sure each and every one of them is doing alright. Her experience with household pets ranges from dogs and cats all the way up to exotics like snakes and lizards. She is reliable and dependable when it comes to making sure animals are taken care of and are healthy and happy.

I HAVE NO BREED PREFERENCES NOR JUDGEMENTS!!! I would need to know the basics: Where's the food, leash, brush/comb, harness, emergency contact information, including Vet., (even for drop-ins and walks). Are there any medicines to administer, or any other 'special care'? Are there any commands I need to know? What are their rules? Is there any ongoing training? If so, I want to be sure I adhere to that so as to not confuse them.
A typical day
Weather permitting, I would like to walk around the neighborhood. For an extra active dog, I would bring my extra long leash and play ball, Frisbee, etc. in a large area such as a park or backyard. Many love to play 'rough' games like wrestling, tugging, etc. I love the challenge of 'taking on' large dogs during this type of play! Some dogs just want to relax and cuddle. I admit these are my favorite times!
