Pet care experience
I’ve been living with dogs my whole life and I love all kinds of pets! I have experience with all ages and sizes of dogs and cats except bottle-babies. I have personal experience training my family’s dogs and have recently begun a course to become a certified dog trainer. I work at an animal shelter as an animal care technician and occasionally bring home fosters from work. This has provided me with experience with dogs and cats of various temperaments from a variety of situations.

Katrina did a great job watching my dog! She was more than willing to do a meet and greet before making a descion to book with her. While I was gone, Katrina stayed in contact and sent pictures and updates. My dog seemed very happy and comfortable at Katrina's home.
Katrina had watched my cat twice now and I’m so glad I chose her. She is very attentive to him, is very communicative and sends regular updates with photos, and very responsible. She has a real passion for animals as you can tell by the toys and beds and more she keeps on hand just to make sure your animal feels comfy, safe, and entertained in her home. I was very nervous to use Rover for the first time but Katrina made the process a breeze. You can trust that your pet is in great hands with her!
Katrina was amazing with my boy Atlas! She was so sweet and sent a lot of pictures. He felt so at home and comfortable with her.

My schedule is slightly varied throughout any given week, but I always make time for what each pet needs. My schedule allows me to provide up to 3 spaced out meals, if necessary. Unless otherwise requested, I typically go on 2-3 walks per day with pups in my care. I have experience with a variety of care requirements including preparing specialized diets and administering medications that I am confident in applying to your pet’s needs.

I’d like to know if there is anything specific that your dog really likes (food, toys, etc) or that they don’t like (other dogs, new people, etc). Do they have separation anxiety? Do they need to take any meds? Are they used to a particular schedule? Do they like dog parks or solo walks? Anything that you think would help your furry companion feel at home would be greatly appreciated.
A typical day
Morning walks are always different paths around my neighborhood. This can be a relaxing stroll or a nice run based on the dog. Afternoon or evening walks can be in the same neighborhood for skittish dogs or through parks or along hiking trails for the more adventurous and energetic pups!

Availability
I work full-time and am usually gone for 8-9 hours per day, 5 days per week. My shift alternates between morning and evening but I always have time, both before and after work, for walks, playtime, and cuddles.
