Pet care experience
I'm a college kid with lots of energy and a need to walk far and often. I love the outdoors and have experience with dogs of all sizes and ages. My family has an old puggle and a young golden retriever, and I adopted a german shepherd mix from a shelter last Spring. His name is Cody, and when I am in Evanston (Sept-June), he may accompany me on walks if you permit (he's super friendly and still pretty small). My favorite things to do with my dogs: going for jogs, playing fetch, and cuddling. I also love a good, long walk. I love dogs because they are so easy to please. Giving them my undivided attention evokes a feeling of presence and joy in me. I've walked and dog sat four golden retrievers (3 of which were puppies), a super old Bernese mountain dog, a young pomeranian, a border collie, a beagle, and 3 pitbull/lab.

I'd like to know if there is anything that makes the dog aggressive, what your rules are for where the dog can lay (couches or not), if the dog has any illnesses or fleas, if the dog responds to its name or not, and if you'd like me to keep the dog leashed the entire time, or find a field to let him/her off-leash to play fetch or run around.
A typical day
Walks along the lake or your neighborhood, catch, frisbee, runs, baths, training, playdates with my dog (only if you are comfortable with that, of course), and anything else you want really.
