Welcome to my Fido's Paradise. My name is Katrina, and when you need a sitter I am here for your needs. I used to take care of dogs on Rover while I was a high-school student. I had to halt my service (which used to be a top-search in the area), but now I am back and ready to spend time with your puppers! I am located in Suffolk County, Long Island.! I'm a dog lover and I am passionate about dogs. During my time as freelance pet sitter I have taken care of many dogs. In fact, when one of my clients had to find a new home for his puppy he asked me first. This happened more than one occasion. But I only have so much room in my house - that special dog was Anishka! Check her out in my dog tab. I used to do only dog-boarding (I was previously called Fido's Home Away from Home) , now that role has reversed and I guess I am Fido now. However, I missed the joy I received from taking care of dogs so I am offering my new services of house sitting and dog walking. As for house visits/sittings I would like to know your dog's schedule that way I can adhere to it. It's important to note that I am a full-time college student and if I am doing overnight home visits I will be bringing my study materials to study as well as paying attention to your dogs and giving them the utmost care! Seems like paradise right? Wrong! Do you know how hard it is to study with cute puppies wanting your attention, haha! I also like to send my clients daily updates of their furbabies - I have a habit of taking many dog pictures on my phone....trust me my storage is filled! I am also easily reachable and I don't care if you have to text me in the middle of the night, if I'm up I will respond! On the other hand, dog walks are super fun with me. Jog? Walk? Slow pace? No problem I can do them all. I have been known to take dogs on beautiful scenic walks, much to the delight of their owners. I will most likely do this for home visits during the weekends. All in all, you can count on me as the dependable sitter who will go the extra mile for your furbaby, because while I am their sitter I treat them as if they were my own little pups: Love and Anishka. Why I love dog sitting Loving dogs? I wouldn't know how to put it I've never began to love dogs at a certain point in time , I was always naturally attracted to animals ever since the day they were born. As a young kid, I was the girl finding leading stray dogs to adoption homes and getting dogs adopted. I could never resist the urge to go and say hi to dogs walking pass by. You can say I was born loving dogs ! *My experience administering medication I am comfortable administering medication as long as I am told and shown what to do before-hand.
