Hello! I am an avid dog lover and have loved dogs since I was a child. I started pet sitting/walking with my aunt’s Cocker Spaniel, Dusty, at age 8. I have cared for many others while in college and beyond. My own pup CJ is my family and I would want him to be treated like family while I’m away. That is the type of care I will provide for your pet when you can’t be with them yourself. I have been providing services to friends and family for over 10 years. I will provide the best walks, playtime, and snuggles any dog could ask for. Your pup won’t miss out on anything while you’re away! Please contact me with any questions you may have.

Katrina loved and and gave excellent care to our Shetland Sheep dogs, Laddie and Snowy. She "pet sat" for us on several occasions, sometimes for weeks at a time, and both dogs loved her and always enjoyed welcoming her to our home or walking with her in the neighborhood. Katrina is very conscientious and we never worried about the dogs, who always seemed healthy and well-cared for on our return.

I usually take a walk in the AM and in the PM with my own dog so your pet would come along with us depending on their own personal activity level. Playtime with plenty of toys is provided in between walks or inclement weather. puzzle balls and snuffle mats provide lots of intellectual stimulation too! I feed/medicate based on your pet’s daily schedule. I will usually do a meet an greet before our scheduled date so I can get information on your pet’s daily schedule and we can make sure it is a good fit for all involved.

I’d like to know what if anything might make them nervous. (Fireworks, loud noises, etc). Any information on any funny quirks they have (like chasing the vaccuum) is always handy to know beforehand. Medications they might need to be given, any allergies they might have, any other special needs, and how much/how often to feed them.
A typical day
I take dogs for walks 2-3 times per day depending on owner’s preference. Playtime is always fun! I can even take them to a dog park to run and socialize if you’d like.

Availability
I am currently off for the summer (I’m a teacher) so I am available full time for any of your pet sitting/walking/drop-in needs. I recently moved and am no longer able to board pets in my apartment. I would be happy to watch your pet in the comfort of your own home though.
