Motherly Love for the Furbabies 💛
Pet care experience
Hi there, my name is Katlyn. Thanks so much for taking your time to read over my sitter profile! Be sure to check out my dog’s pet profile to make sure your dog(s) would be a good match with him, too! To begin, I’ve been around all sorts of animals my WHOLE life — from lizards to horses and everything in between. I’ve been an animal lover since before I could walk. I’ve been pet sitting for nearly 10 years, but I have many more years of pet care experience. I started out by checking-in on family/friends/neighbor’s pets then once I got a bit older I started house-sitting. But now that I have a house of my own, I’ve decided to open it to other’s who may need a warm, cozy, and loving home to host their fur babies while away. I have almost an acre of unfenced land, but we have a 40ft lead for safe exploration ( that is for leash trained dogs only). I am able to walk dogs around my property, too. I also have one dog crate! It’s for XL dogs, so if your dog might not feel the coziest in it, please feel free to bring your own. • Your dog MUST be child friendly • I can board two dogs a night if they’re both under 30lbs • Feel free to follow me on my FB page: Home Away from Home Dog Boarding and Daycare
Reviews
Katlyn and her family took great care of my pups! We will definitely return when we next need care
Katlyn and her family are the best sitters we’ve found in our area. Plus Lucy goes wild when we pull into their driveway and doesn’t like leaving their home.
Excellent! Great communication and cared for my babies exactly as instructed. I highly recommend.
Absolutely friendliest and sweetest family we’ve ever left Lucy with. Your dog may not want to leave Katlyn’s home.

Safety, trust & environment
I always supervise my dog (and yours) when they’re outside to potty or sun bathe. I ensure feedings are always done separately for the safety of my dog, your dog, and my family. Whenever I need to go run errands, I like to give my dog (and yours with approval), an organic peanut butter filled Kong with a few pieces of dog food/treats.
Home
Information Katlyn C. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog has a schedule they go by, if they’re friendly with other dogs, spayed/neutered, crate trained, has any sort of anxiety, allergies, or any specific needs! Also, please be sure to bring your dog’s bed, a blanket or anything that smells like home, a couple of their favorite toys and/or a few of their favorite treats. That always helps them relax when staying at an a new and unfamiliar place.
A typical day
A typical day in our home includes an early morning potty break then breakfast, some play/chill time then around noon we’ll have another potty break (or as needed). In the evenings we’ll go outside and play fetch or monkey in the middle (great way to tired a dog out). And of course, end the day with some dinner and snuggles. During the warmer months, if your dog is leash trained, we will visit the park and walk a few miles!
