Pet care experience
Love all types of dogs and have spent quite some time helping my sister board, house sit and walk dogs, where I have learned the in’s and outs of different types of breeds and how to cater to them irregardless if they’re shy or more energetic, young or on the older side. I have done conservation work in Utah and NY, where I have done a lot of hiking, so I am used to extensively walking and being outdoors. I grew up on the Northwest side and am very familiar with the area, especially Belmont-Cragin, Logan Square, HP and Wicker Park. But in general, I get around all over the North side. Hope to be of service for anyone who needs it!

Katiria is an amazing sitter and I feel truly comfortable and confident dropping Palomita off to spend a day with her. My pup comes home well exercised and extremely loved! Amazing communication and the best updates throughout the day, Palomita’s walks have also gotten better since she’s started spending time with Katiria.
I get the sweetest updates and I feel comfortable and trust that she is well taken care of. I highly recommend booking with Katiria for boarding, and daycare, she is professional and loving towards the puppies!
Palomita was well cared for and having a high energy pup is always unpredictable on how the day will go but Katiria does a wonderful job in tiring her out and plenty of playtime!
My pup didn’t care to say goodbye to me as soon as she met Katiria, she had a wonderful time and her updates throughout the day were especially assuring my energetic pup was not causing too much chaos. Wonderful attention to detail and so much care went into their time together. Thank you Katiria!!

A typical day
A typical day with the dog depends on the age, physical agility and temperament of the dog, along with any particular request the dog owner may have. Usually, I like to get the dog out & about to explore its surroundings, give it plenty of love & play with the dog.

If I have availability in my calendar, it’s because I plan on spending a substantial amount of time with your pet (especially for house sitting). I can spend hours on end with your pet & work from a computer if that’s what you’d like! Again, I’m very open to requests & preferences.
