Pet care experience
Working with animals is one of my biggest passions. Pets have been a part of my family my whole life. I currently work at an animal shelter and have been for about 3 years now. I have a lot of experience with all different types of dogs (and cats); including those with behavioral and health issues. Reactivity and handing large dogs is nothing new for me. I also previously worked at a dog daycare. I currently have a lab pit mix of my own and two cats as well and I regularly watch clsoe family pets. I do not have formal training in dog first aid and CPR but do have experience dealing with injuries and emergencies so your pet would be in good hands.

Proper handilgn will be used and they will be kept safe away from possible dangers such as the road and other nonfriendly pets (this includes maintaining a safe distance from other individuals while on walks). A typical day
I'll take the dog on multiple walks and playw ith them based on their preferences. I think enrichment is very important as well; both their physical and mental needs should be met

Availability
I'm available for dog walking Monday and Wednesday afternoons and evenings; Tuesday and Thursday evenings and occasionally on weekends. I work part time at an animal shelter and I go to college part-time (studying animal science). I plan to fit in pet care around my work and school schedule
