Pet care experience
I'll love your dog like they're my own! I'm very passionate about animals and always love being around them. I have two dogs of my own; a high energy minigoldendoodle and a spunky cockapoo. In the past I have worked in a vet clinic as an animal care attendant, and volunteered at the humane society, more specifically on the dog shelter side. I have experience walking, feeding, playing and working on basic obedience with small, medium and large dogs, as well as dogs with different temperaments. I love seeing dogs gain confidence and radiate happiness, especially when they get adopted. Always having the dog's best interest in mind is number one for me. I love to see them happy! My schedule is quite flexible.

Katie is amazing with all dogs. She is a true animal lover and she knows how to handle all sizes, breeds and temperaments. I would trust Katie completely with any dog. She would provide a safe and loving environment for your pet and it would be a worry free experience for any owner.
You would be very fortunate to have Katie look after your dog. I have been volunteering with Katie at the Etobicoke Humane Society for quite some time and she is kind, caring, loving, supportive and treats all our dogs amazingly well. They really listen to her when she is teaching them tricks and is good at it. At the shelter we call her the "dog whisperer" as we have had dogs that volunteers were unable to approach and yet Katie could approach all of them. It is like they could sense her intense love of animals also having worked with wildlife in different capacities. On a personal note, Katie has an amazing personality, will be there for you if need be, is very upbeat, very responsible and a pleasure to volunteer with. I have a 12 year old Maltese who is very nervous, however, I would trust Katie with him since I know her love would make him forget about his nervousness and her adorable dog would sure help out as well.

I take my dogs on leashed walks daily to ensure the safety of my dog as well as proving comfort for all potential encounter with other people or dogs that may not be comfortable around dogs. I also ensure all potential harmful items are out of reach from dogs reach while away.

A typical day
I live on the Beltline in midtown Toronto and love taking my dog on walks on this well trafficked path. I also live closeby to Mount Pleasant cemetery which is a place I enjoy to take my dog on a peaceful walk.

Availability
My dog is very active requiring multiple walks per day. While he is 9 years old, his puppy gene has not been lost. I am also responsible for assisting my parents with their puppy on a weekly basis. All this to say I am always around and caring for my four legged family!
