Pet care experience
I have owned dogs since I was a child. I have volunteered in animal shelters from a young age and have a love for all animals large and small. In college I worked for a doggy daycare and I have experience caring for all of an animal's needs throughout their life. I have administered medications, cleaned up messes, and calmed a dog in storms. I will treat your dog with respect and compassion while you are away. I am a proud owner of a big eared mutt and a large fun-loving cat. I will love your animals like my own!

It was great having Katie stay with my pups! Zoee and Gabbron seemed very happy and relaxed when I got home and everything was in order in the house. She kept in good contact with me, providing updates and pictures. Great experience and would definitely use her again! Thank you!
When Katie stays in our home she handles everything that comes up (!) We come home to everything in nice order in our home and happy dogs! Great communication while we're gone, too.
I've used Katie several times and always feel comfortable when my little one is with her. She does a great job of making sure Shay gets everything she needs while I'm gone. Shay loves when Katie brings Zara over to play also. She is my first call when I need someone.

I will want to know the dogs routine, so we can stick to it. Routines are important to dogs and while you're away they have enough to worry about, I don't want them to stress about what time their walk will be. The point of the stay is to make sure they have just as much fun as you do while you are away, because that is only fair. I have no breed preferences I just ask that you tell me little quirks about them so I know who I am meeting and taking care of. I also have a partner, Justin, who is a rover sitter that is willing to help if I am unavailable. We own Zara together and think he is the best dog dad a girl can ask for! He will sometimes accompany me on meet and greets, just so you and your dogs can meet the whole team!
A typical day
I love to take dogs on walks and understand that some dogs prefer to lounge and snuggle, which I will be happy to oblige. We can go to the park, the dog park, or just for a car ride. I am willing to treat your dog just like you do, and if they have a routine I am happy to follow it. Being an active dog owner, I am willing to do just about anything.
