Hello! I’m a dog lover who is super excited to love on some doggos!! I had a minature schnauzer for 15 years who I absolutely adored. She crossed the Rainbow Bridge in April 2023 💞🐺🐾 I started Rover as a way to still be around dogs, love and heal ❤️🩹. I adopted a sweet stray in August 2023 they thought she was a schnauzer but ended up being a very young sheepdoodle, that I named The Grand Chawhee 🐑😂. She is VERY well socialized. If your dog wants to play?! GREAT, if not she knows how to read the room.

I was very happy to find a loving and caring person to take such wonderful care of my elderly dog. She treated her as if it were her own. The communication was always quick and I got updates throughout the day. She was able to sleep on the couch and her bed as she does at home. I needed someone who worked from home and this was a perfect match. She was also on top of administering her medications daily. I highly recommend Katie for watching your fur babies.
Best rover experience yet! Katie put my dog (and me!) right at ease right when we met her — the communication throughout Granger’s stay was top notch with plenty of photos and updates about how my girl was doing. I could tell from all the photos that she was relaxed and getting PLENTY of love. It can be hard to find a rover who makes you feel confident that your pup is getting the level of attention of love and care that you’d give them at your own home — and Katie did just that! Can’t wait to have Granger stay with her again soon :)
This was our first time boarding our dogs privately (usually we board at Camp Bow Wow) and we couldn’t be happier. From the moment we booked Katie was open and informative. She immediately made me feel at ease about how she would care for our boys. Upon meeting her for the first time both of our boys were immediately at ease in her lovely home. She took care to introduce our dogs to the other dogs she was sitting as well as her own dog gradually and sent us pictures within an hour of drop off. She continued to send update texts and pictures off our boys during their stay. The texts and pictures showed our boys snuggling, playing and being social. We were over the moon with the care and love Katie provided for our dogs and would not hesitate to book her services again the next time we come to San Antonio!
Katie is an incredibly trustworthy and caring sitter! I felt so at ease leaving my pup at her home. I know my dog was having the time of her life cuddling on the couch, eating treats and practicing tricks, and going on walks and enjoying her backyard! I really appreciated Katie’s flexibility with my plans changing too. She’s the best and I can’t wait to board my dog with her again.

A typical day
Mornings are always filled with stretches, and potty break. Week days we get long morning walks followed by a day of lounging. In the evenings or weekends we see where the day takes us. Maybe a dog park (if preferred), pupichino, maybe a car ride or two, and see where the day takes us.

Availability
I work from home and typically have a flexible schedule. I would need to coordinate drop off around meetings if M-F, 8-5. Otherwise I can take the puppos out as much as they need, and get in evening walks! This is a side job that I love. I do not take dogs who are aggressive or bark excessively (I have work calls).
