Pet care experience
I have been pet sitting for over 8 years. It started as a favor to someone and morphed into a part-time job. The first dog that I watched was a golden retriever and he was 2 years old. Today he is 10 (with numerous health issues) and I still care for him several times a year with each stay between 14-21 days.

On my wfh days, the animals will never really be left unattended unless I need to run an errand. I make sure that we take walks and trips outside every 2 hours. Longer walks in the woods or on trails are also scheduled daily.

I love to take the dogs on long walks at Borderland or other locations that have great walking trails. I prefer off busy road outings.

I currently work a full-time hybrid job where my WFH days are Mondays and Thursdays. My office days . When sitting, I rarely leave the animals in my care for more than the time it takes to do a grocery store run.
