Pet care experience
I grew up on a ranch and have had many different breeds of dogs throughout my life. I am part of a rescue that gets dogs and puppies from all over the country for training to be service dogs for veterans; I get the dogs/puppies, train, foster, and re-home them. My mother is a vet tech and i have grown up in veterinary offices my whole life and have learned to become comfortable with almost any medical situations involving animals. (from giving medicine to redressing wounds). I have had at least one small dog in my home my whole life, I have also had medium sized dogs(mostly cattle dogs), and even great danes and mastiffs. I am comfortable with any size and shape of dog and LOVE meeting new pups!! I am energetic and level-headed, especially with animals. I am flexible and willing to work with schedules. I am more than willing to have a personalized care routine for every dog because through experience I know not every dog is the same. I look forward to meeting new dogs!

Katie has been the best with our two French Bulldogs. I am very happy that we chose Katie to walk our dogs daily. Caring for the pups has been challenging since my daughter moved out of state (her dogs). I was in a panic and tried Rover to help during the day. The first two walkers weren't as detailed and loving as Katie was. Communication has been awesome! Their report cards are very detailed and she always lets me know little things they do. Katie also checks to make sure they have enough water before leaving the house. All these little things have helped me a ton while I'm at work. Thank you so much, Katie! Katie is amazing! I’m impressed with Katie’s personal accomplishments and value her love for animals. She appreciates spending time with my dog Rusty and he could not be happier. Katie is the epitome of the phrase “dog person” she has cared for, nurtured, raised, and even trained a large number of dogs from vary many breeds. She has done countless training sessions for dogs to be trained as service animals for disabled Military Veterans. She has an adorable pup of her own named Daisy which is very loved and spoiled dog to say the least. Katie loves to go to the dog beach or dog park and play with other dogs and help build trust with other animals and owners. She’s definitely the best choice when it comes to taking care of your fur baby.
