Pet care experience
Hey there! I'm Katie & I'm a passionate dog-lover who would love the opportunity to care for your dog! I live in Wilder,KY- close to many parks & dog parks. All my life, I have had dogs of my own and currently volunteer with Stray Animal Adoption Program and local shelters. I work from home two days/week and am off Friday afternoons & weekends to care for your pet. By allowing me to care for your pet, you're allowing unlimited love, snuggles, exercise/walks, toys, or whatever tickles your pet's fancy! I look forward to caring for your pet soon!! Thanks so much! NOTE: For Thursday evening dog-boarding, I am not available for drop off prior to 6:00pm. When boarding at my home, dogs must be house-trained (no exceptions).

Katie went above and beyond with our dog, Karli. Katie was very easy to schedule with. She was flexible and sent pictures of our dog daily. I was nervous about leaving our dog but Katie made it so easy. I knew she was in great hands and would recommend Katie to anyone!
Katie is AMAZING!! My dog, Stanley, does not love to be at the sitter. But, he literally jumps out of the car window when we pull up to Katie's house. She plays with the dogs ALL THE TIME. She takes the best pictures EVER. And, she sincerely loves the pups. She is a MUST as a sitter.
There are not enough positive adjectives to describe Katie. She was friendly, welcoming, organized and communicative and overall a phenomenal 2nd mom to our dog Bentley. Katie made us feel completely at ease with pictures and communication. She even included a card and doggie treat for us as a goodbye present - how incredible? I would HIGHLY recommend Katies' services to anyone needing care for their furries -she is an absolute delight!
If I could give Katie 10 stars, I would. This is my first time using Rover and I can't imagine having a better experience. She was overly accommodating to the hours I needed help with my pup and made me feel completely at ease. She sent me regular texts and pictures to let me know she was doing well. When she brought her back to my house, my pup was sad to leave her. I highly recommend Katie! Extremely friendly, professional and loving toward your pet.

I like to know any behavioral issues, anxieties, etc.. Unless aggressive, I'm pretty comfortable around all dogs and breeds. I would also need to know how they react around other dogs/children and if I should let animals/people greet the dog when we are out. If needing any medications, would also need to know typical protocol for administering. Lastly, knowing the dog is up to date on rabies shots and flea/tick prevention is a must.
A typical day
My subdivision has multiple trails, parks, and safe areas for your pet to walk, run, & roam. I'm only a short drive from the local Ft. Thomas/Highland Hills and Newport Dog Parks.
