I come from a family with dogs. Big and small, I love all types of dogs. I am the type of person who stops on the side walk to ask if I can pet your dog, then ask what kind, how old, what's their name. I wish I could have a dog of my own but with work it wouldn't be fair to the dog. So I figured this is a great trade off, getting to pick and choose when I have a dog and all different types. I have spent many weekends watching over my family pets and friends family pets. I have watched 12 week old puppies that need a lot of care and I've watch in 10 year old dogs. I have two female roommates that also love dogs. On the weekend when pet sitting my first priority would be the dog, we also have a dog park a block away so when I've watched coworkers dogs and thats a big highlight of the day!
