My husband and I absolutely love caring for animals, and my dream is to do that as a living. We have three dogs and a cat in our family. We both also have years of experience with rodents (guinea pigs, chinchillas, rats, etc.) from growing up in animal loving families. Plus, I personally have experience caring for reptiles, as well. Our oldest dog is a senior and deaf, so we're used to special needs. I am working as a fitness trainer on Thursday and Friday afternoons, so I am very active and love exercising with both people and pets! I even participate in agility training with our border collie! Being a trainer means that I have a flexible schedule. And, George can cover for me on Thursday and Friday when I have fitness clients, if your pet is staying at our house. Though, I'm only gone a little while. I like to provide a place for you to leave your pet and not have to worry. Therefore, I have my own small dogs divided off in the house. So, if you have a dog that nips at other animals, I totally understand that some dogs (especially some rescues) like to know that they have their own space. Your pet can even have its own bedroom, which some people with rodents/birds prefer! The extra bedroom includes a big bed and crate, a TV, and a pet-specific music player. If you have a feline companion or two who need to stay with someone while you're away, our front room is a cat aviary, with glass doors, tons of toys, stuff to climb, and two big windows to watch outside. You don't even need to worry about bringing litter/litter box! Also, if you've got a pet who isn't so great with potty training, you don't have to stress like you would with other pet sitters. The house has completely waterproof flooring. I don't mind the clean-ups at all, and I'll never charge you extra. I've taken care of elderly dogs who have accidents, and it's never a problem. The same goes for petting sitting services in your home. If you have a pup who has accidents, I don't mind cleaning up at all!
