Pet care experience
I adore dogs, and my life is richer because of them. I grew up with a chocolate lab and three kitties. Now I'm raising a chocolate lab named Moose and his kitty sister, Kiva. Always looking to spend more time with dogs through walks, brief visits and overnight stays at a client's home. Love to care for kitties, too! I can take care of dogs of all ages, sizes and breeds. I work at UW (hybrid schedule during winter quarter. Would love to care for your pup when you're unable to be home with him/her! Looking forward to walks, snuggles and sloppy kisses!

Katie was an exceptional sitter for our pitbull who has separation anxiety. This was our first time having a sitter come to our home since covid so we were definitely out of practice trusting someone to stay in our home and care for our dog. Katie made the transition extremely easy. She was professional, responsible, and most importantly, wonderful with our pup! We can't wait for the next time :)

Katie was so great! I have a nervous German Shepherd mix who took some time to warm up to her, but Katie wasn't phased. She came by twice to meet my dog to help her get to know her in advance, which was really great. Katie was super communicative during my weekend away, sending pics and updates frequently, so I felt confident everything was going as it should. She even watered my plants while I was away!

I'm happy to follow any instructions and pay close attention to the preferences of you and your fur babies. I can provide endless snuggles, walks of any length, administer meds to senior pets, etc. I love dogs of all sizes and regularly walk my own 95+lb lab. Large dogs don't intimidate me!

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or unique behaviors that I should know about. Does your dog get along with other dogs? Any triggers that bring about unusual reactions? (i.e. skateboards, sirens, etc.) I'm also curious about rules in your home around dogs on couches, beds, etc.
A typical day
I love Seattle parks (especially Jefferson, Martha Washington and Seward Park) and taking neighborhood strolls. Depending on the dog's temperament and owner's preferences, I will sometimes take dogs to off-leash parks like Genesee, Magnuson or Luther Burbank.

I can fit in pet visits during the work day on Mondays and sometimes Thursdays (easiest for me to visit pets of my South Seattle neighbors)!
